After a thorough search for well-bred Chihuahuas, I adopted from Tera's program because of the excellent physical qualities and even temperaments from her lines. My Tucker is a full time therapy dog, serving clients for periodic overnight stays as needed, while Tiffany participates in the therapy dog program at my school where she spends one day a month loving up kids with special needs. Tera has become a dear friend, and we are blessed to be part of the Lucky Star family!

I have kept purebred Chihuahuas as pets for almost twenty years now. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of finding a reputable breeder who is in good standing with the AKC, health tests, and breeds for betterment and not profit, even if you are simply looking for a high quality pet. I think you would be hard pressed to find prettier Chihuahuas with better temperaments or a more ethical breeder than Tera Jameson. My Phoebe from her is the sweetest most playful dog I’ve ever owned. This dog looks for joy in everything she does and has never known a bad mood. I trust Lucky Star Chihuahuas implicitly!

Two years ago (8/23/18), we received a gift from heaven - a beautiful 12 month old, long hair Chihuahua named Audi from breeder Tera Jameson. I came across the Lucky Star Chihuahuas website while searching the Internet and found photos of the most gorgeous long hair Chihuahuas I’ve ever seen and knew I needed more information.
After contacting Tera on IM, videos, and phone conversations we immediately realized she was the right breeder for us. Tera listened as I described how we lost our long hair Jazzy after 16 years explaining how difficult it’s been but felt it’s the right time to begin our search. What impressed us most was Tera’s patience and willingness to listen to our needs, expectations, and concerns while explaining we didn’t need a puppy but wanted a female with a gentle personality. Tera mentioned she had one dog named Audi, who was turning 1 but she was a close member of her family and wasn’t sure they wanted to part with her. Somehow, maybe it’s after more messages and references from our Vet, Tera asked if we would be interested in adopting her- and of course the rest is history. We quickly sent a deposit and knew this little girl named Audi was going to come stay with us! Tera does not under any condition ship her dogs. No problem for us! In fact, this policy truly impressed us. In addition, Tera allowed us to mail a couple of shirts and small blankets with our scent on them for an easier transition. Due to our scheduling, three months later, we had flight reservations from NC to California and our return flight added one dog ticket with a carrier approved by Tera and the airline. Our new little Audi was safe and was within reach of us throughout the entire flight! Audi has an outstanding personality who loves people, food, belly rubs, and hugs! Audi’s amazing traits are because of the time, love and devotion Tera gave her as a puppy. Tera Jameson’s breeding standards, exceptional blood lines, and dedication to help ensure her dogs are free from genetically inherited disorders are carefully monitored which is very important to us. We were also given Audi’s lineage going back several generations which shows us how Tera is concerned with proper breeding standards. Tera is dedicated to raising healthy, well-adjusted puppies and young dogs in her safe and loving home. Lucky Star Chihuahuas are simply outstanding and raised in Tera’s home which provides an environment of the highest standards. Some of her dogs are kept for show while others may be adopted. I have never met a more caring, dedicated, selective, and informative breeder who loves each and every one of her dogs. Bailey is doing wonderful. She is the happiest, most lovable puppy. Were so in love with her and can not thank you enough for this special precious angel gift you shared with us.
